Throughout the 2013/14 school year, The Funhouse Commons will continue to offer its innovative After School, Teen, Mentoring, and Educational programs.  We are not just a place for fun and learning, but also a critical social safety net for island children and teens.

Everyday we offer fun classes, homework club, and other supervised activities in a safe after school program.  At the close of each school day, Funhouse Staff meet kids up at the public school and walk them down to The Funhouse!  They depart the school from the maple tree in front of the elementary school at 3:15 p.m. on full days and 12:15 p.m. or 1:15 p.m. on half days.

Have a student who would benefit from our after school program? Come visit us any time after school! We always welcome new students and parent volunteers.

We implemented a new fee structure last March and have simplified it for the start of the 2013/14 school year.  The new fee structure is a fee for service model and will provide you with more flexible sign up and payment options.  It is a monthly or annual fee based on a voluntary tier system.

With this new fee structure we will be making enhancements to the program including daily snacks.   This year we are also implementing a stricter sign in/out policy and increasing our staff training. By paying the monthly or annual fee you will have access to unlimited family visits and discounts in classes for kids and adults.

The new fee schedule is a voluntary tier system.  This entitles you to unlimited familiy visits, discounts in classes for kids and adults.  Click HERE to download our form to register for the program.  Or stop in and pick up a form.

If money is tight, no problem! Just apply for a scholarship. Click HERE to download our simple, one-page scholarship request form. It’s easy to fill out, totally confidential, and requires no invasive financial disclosures. NO ONE WILL BE TURNED AWAY FROM THE FUNHOUSE for financial reasons.

The Funhouse 2013 Annual Report is out!

We are pleased to provide the details of another successful year for The Funhouse Commons; including quality programs, incredible local support and positive transitions launching us into 2014.
